I start making my way to Palomar, but it looks pretty nasty. get out to the 76 east of the 15 and a CHiPer is cruising behind some guy with his lights on. This goes for a few miles and then finally, in a turn, the CHP turns on the sirens and passes the truck over a double yellow. A few miles we find what the CHP was going to. They were shutting down the road that heads out to Harrahs. I later found out that a Sheriffs deputy went head on with a car around Harrahs. After that, it was pretty smooth sailing to Mesa Grande.

There was a nice turn out of about 30 Minis and not one looked the same as another. Shooting was a breeze except the first few cars were real close to each other so I had to let the camera buffer which made me miss a shot or two.

After the Minis made their way off Mesa Grande, around 11:30, I headed off to South Grade Road. Went to the usual sweeper to turn out. Shot for a few hours, gave out a few cards too. Towards the end of the day, a guy stopped to get my card, and decided to stop and wait for his friends. They ended up all meeting up on the turn and it was a couple of guys I met at Mothers Kitchen a few weekes ago. They were all pretty cool guys. One of the guys, Stacy, had a mean R6 that he had just put some new parts on and was letting the other guys test out his bike. It was definitely a good end to the day watching these guys run this bike through the turn a few times.
